The Warford Foundation

The Warford Foundation was created by Parthenia Richardson. TWF is a non-profit organization that was created to help single and widowed military mothers obtain a two year nursing degree.

When it came to helping those less fortunate, Parthenia has a soft spot in her heart. She has a special connection with single mothers, as she was one raising two daughters, while she was in the U.S army for 20 years.

The one thing Ms. Richardson wants to stress to the women a part of her foundation is, things happen that will change your life , but it is how you respond to those things that will affect the way you will live your life. Ms. Richardson believes that her foundation is a step in the right direction for many and a place where second chances are giving without judgment.

Please support The Warford Foundation on May 14th, 2010. The foundation will host a benefit gala that will help raise money to help fiance the foundation and its endeavors. Scheduled to perform is D.C Don Juan (Jive Records), Deangelo Redman (Making the Band 4), Hip-Hop artist Broadway Miller and Alison Carney.
